Summer Calendar 

Step into history all summer long with the Salmon Brook Historical Society! Join us for guided campus tours, community parade appearances, special America 250 programs and events, hands-on history experiences, family activities, and so much more throughout the season. From celebrating local heritage to bringing history to life for all ages, there’s always something happening on campus this summer. Spring Flea Market at the Salmon Brook Historical Society

Spring is the perfect time to discover hidden treasures at the Salmon Brook Historical Society Spring Flea Market on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM! Browse vintage finds, antiques, collectibles, tools, household treasures, and unique pieces of local history while enjoying a fun day with the community. Grab Ms. Murphy’s fresh donuts and hotdogs, visit our SBHS merchandise table, and explore a wide variety of vendors. Bring a friend and join us for a wonderful day of history, community, and great finds!

Parade Dates

Come out and enjoy the town parade and cheer on the amazing community floats as they travel through town! From creative designs to patriotic spirit and local history, it’s a fun-filled event for the whole family you won’t want to miss.

Second Grade Tours

Each year, the Salmon Brook Historical Society welcomes local second grade students for hands-on tours that bring history to life. Students explore historic buildings, learn about life in early Granby, and experience the past through interactive activities and storytelling.
